If there is anything the past two years has taught us, it is to expect the unexpected. HR trends have taken a massive turn. Be prepared for 2022 with these 3 HR trends for this year.

1.Work from Home

We should all be aware and accepting of the fact that the “work from home” trend will be around indefinitely. While this trend poses many struggles, the benefits have seemed to outweigh them. 78 percent of workers find themselves stalled in their careers, 76 percent of Black remote workers feel their career has made progress.

Employers must strive to provide quality flexibility to their workers. This will enable employees to balance personal and professional lives in the way that best suits them, decreasing burnout and attrition.

This flexibility will take the form of:

  • Work location: Working from home, a shared office space local to your area, or working from a nearby coffee shop.

  • Work time: Having the freedom to decide your working hours.

2. HR software

A recent Informa Connect survey shows that although 40.9 percent of respondents have deployed an emerging technology, success has been varied, with 32.3 percent claiming no success.

The most important aspects HR professionals look for in technology platforms are data security, usability, and interoperability, whereas AI and chat functions are significantly lower on the priority list.

Xceed365 creates efficiencies, increases accuracy and improves decision through better and holistic views of employee data.

3. Work Culture Conversation

Employers will have to reevaluate how they define visibility in the workplace as we move into a new era of hybrid and remote work. This includes establishing trust and utilizing data to gain a better understanding of employee engagement and performance. Employee engagement is influenced by a number of factors, one of which is acknowledgment.
